MUD, SWEAT AND BEERS!

Disley Runners formed in 2017 from a group of friends who enjoyed running trails around the amazing scenery of Disley and the Peak District. Although a trail running club, Disley Runners includes runners who take part in everything from road races to fell races, so we are here for everyone.

We currently have 8 qualified UKA/FRA run leaders who lead the group runs.

We are a not-for-profit club and there is currently no membership fee, just £1 subs per run. This has been made possible by Disley Parish Council and the lovely Malt Disley micro pub located in Disley, as they have helped cover the costs of training our run leaders. Subs also go towards run leader trainig with any excess being donated to our charities Kinder Mountain Rescue and Disley Footpath Society.

Many members can be found at the 5km Lyme parkrun on Saturdays at 9am, as well as various other runs and races of every possible length around the area.
